In addition an antenna symbol appears. This signals that the telephone system is sending data to the service provider. The symbol disappears again if the service provider has replied. As soon as all the traffic information for the navigation system is available, the TCS symbol changes to light text on a dark background . The TCS symbol disappears after 30 min. if no further traffic information has been received in that time. The traffic messages can be read by pressing the "Detour" key and activating the "TRAFFIC INFO (TCS)" menu. Information on national highways is also shown; however, for the recalculation of a route, only messages that concern national motorways and lie on the route destination are relevant. |
