| 1 | Remove front seat | AR91.10-P-1000E | |
| 2 | Remove front seat backrest | AR91.10-P-1060E | |
| 3 | Put front seat backrest down on suitable surface with cover pointing downward | ||
| 4 | Pull off hand wheel (11) and cover below | ||
| 5 | Unscrew screw (12) on tensioning element (13) and remove tensioning element (13) downward from front backrest (15) | ||
| 6 | Unhook cover (14) at side on backrest frame (15) and pull out of clip channel at bottom and top | ||
| 7 | Unhook cover (14) at side of backrest fitting (10, arrow) on left and right and lift over shaft (17) for hand wheel (11) | ||
| 8 | Remove head restraint guide rail (18) on left and right after removing rivet (19) and remove guide rail (18) downward from backrest frame (15) | ||

Unhook upholstery retaining straps (arrows) for lateral retention on backrest frame Installation hook for upholstery straps |

| 10 | Remove backrest frame (15) from rubberized fiber matting (20) | ||
| 11 | Pull Velcro strips (21) on left and right off of rubberized fiber matting (20) | ||
| 12 | Separate plastic ring (22) on head restraint eye (23) and remove head restraint eye (23) from cover (14) | ||
| 13 | Fold cover (14) to side and up to middle | ||
| 14 | Unhook longitudinal retaining wire on upholstery clip (24) and remove cover (14) from rubberized fiber matting (20) | ||
| Installation | |||
| 15 | Press in upholstery clips (24) for longitudinal retaining wires on left and right on rear of rubberized fiber matting (20) | ||
| 16 | Pull retaining wires (2 longitudinal and 2 lateral retaining wires) into fabric tube on cover (14) and align | ||
| 17 | Position cover (14) on rubberized fiber matting (20) and align | ||
| 18 | Hook longitudinal retaining wires on left and right into upholstery clips (24) | ||
| 19 | Pull cover (14) over rubberized fiber matting at top and sides and align | ||
| 20 | Install both head restraint eyes (23) and fasten with plastic rings (22) | ||
| 21 | Align cover (14) at side of rubberized fiber matting (20) and fasten with Velcro strips (21) | ||
| 22 | Install backrest frame (15) into rubberized fiber matting (20) while driving in bottom wire strap with bottom end of rubberized fiber matting (20, arrow) | ||
| 23 | Hook lateral retaining wires onto backrest frame with upholstery straps (arrows) | Fig 4 | |

| 24 | Insert both head restraint guide rails (18) into backrest frame (15) from top and rivet on at bottom with rivet (19) | ||
| 25 | Hook cover (14) in all the way around on backrest frame (15) and fasten | ||
| 26 | Insert tensioning element (13) into backrest frame (15) at top and fasten at bottom with screw (12) | ||
| 27 | Attach cover and hand wheel (11) for backrest adjustment gear | ||
| 28 | Install front seat backrest | AR91.10-P-1060E | |
| 29 | Install front seat | AR91.10-P-1000E |
