| 1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | ||
| 2 | Remove door liners on front doors | Model 202 | AR72.10-P-1000E |

| 3 | Pull off door foil in area of door lock | ||
| 4 | Disconnect lock switch S86/1 or S87/1 from door lock | For this purpose press catch lug (arrow) on switch housing behind electric lead for lock switch outward with plastic wedge | |
| 5 | Cut off lock switch wiring harness to dimension "a" (150 mm) | See initial figure | |

| 6 | Solder sockets onto wiring harness and insert into connector housing | See electric wiring diagrams, model 202, group 80 See electric wiring diagrams, model 210, group 80 |

| 7 | Insert clip (2) into opening present on inner door panel | ||
| 8 | Plug lock switch S86/1, S87/1 on to door lock | ||
| 9 | Connect connector S86/1x1 or S87/1x1 and insert in clip (2) | ||
| 10 | Reconnect ground lead to battery | ||
