Disconnect or unbolt connections from tailgate, and pull out through cable guide |

Disconnect leads for windshield washing unit from wiper motor and pull out of tailgate |

Detach vacuum line from vacuum element and pull out of tailgate |

| 5 |
Mark installation position of hinge on tailgate |

| 6 |
Removing and installing gas-operated strut (1) at tailgate |

Unscrew bolts (2 and 3) and remove tailgate (4) with second person |

Install in the reverse order |
