| 1 | Remove plastic clip (1) | ||
| 2 | Unhook plastic tab (2) in handle recess with screwdriver | ||
| 3 | Remove cover (3) | ||
| 4 | Remove plastic clip (4) | ||
| 5 | Lift cover (5) slightly and remove from retaining clips (6) upward | ||
| 6 | Release top cover (7) with long wedge and remove | Figure | |
| 7 | Release left and right cover (8) with long wedge and press off toward inside of tailgate | Figure | |
| 8 | Reinstall in opposite order |
