INSPECT Checking
6 Inspect cylinder walls IMPORTANT Distinguish between "visible streaks" and "scoring".
"Visible streaks"  are usually streaks (e.g. from the ring joint) which are as much as 3 mm in width, and not roughened, and are therefore not critical. Honing marks are still visible.
In case of 'scoring'  (cylinder wear), the cylinder wall is roughened and honing marks are no longer visible.
In case of doubt, remove cylinder head:

7 Conduct inspection of other cylinders in the same way
8 Install in the reverse order
