| 4 | Remove cross member | Vehicles without auxiliary fan. | |
| 5 | Remove radiator trim partially | Vehicles without auxiliary fan. | |
| 6 | Remove ventilation grille and side covers | Model 202.028 and vehicles with air conditioning (code 580) and automatic air conditioning (code 581a). | |

| 8 | Carefully pull cover (25) forward | ||
| 9 | Unscrew screws (27, 28, 29) | ||
| 10 | Pull off electrical connection (30) | ||
| 11 | Pull off pneumatic line (33) from headlamp range adjustment | ||
| 12 | Remove headlamp unit (E1, E2) toward front | ||
| 13 | Pull off hose (32) | With headlamp cleaning system (code 600a). | |
| 14 | Separate connectors (M6/2x1, M6/3x1) | With headlamp cleaning system (code 600a). | |
