| 1 | Park vehicle on a level surface | The vehicle level must not change when the brakes are operated. Vehicle must be in ready-for-the-road condition (unladen weight, fuel tank full or appropriate additional weight) Adjust tire inflation pressure to correct pressure. Have a person sit on driver's seat or place a load of 75 kg on seat (except USA). On vehicles with level control or ADS allow motor to run at a medium speed for approx. 30 seconds. Move vehicle back and forth to correctly adjust axle. |

| 2 | Read off adjustment value in %, for main and additional headlamp on vehicle headlamp or in the vicinity of the vehicle headlamp and adjust scale of headlamp adjustment tester. | ||
