Remove/install rear window - AR67.20-P-2000D: Notes

REMOVING Remove     
1 Prepare glue cartridge COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Betagun 2K electric cartridge gun AR67.10-P-1000-07P
*WH58.30-Z-1002-20A 
*BR00.45-Z-1015-02A 
2 Remove molding on rear window   ra67001400220x
3 Remove paneling from rear pillar   ra68001400449x
4 Remove electric connections (1) from rear window and fasten with adhesive tape (2)    
5 Mask window cutout with adhesive tape (arrows)    
6 Remove supports on clips (arrow)    
DANGER Risk of injury from slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and from glass splinters when cutting out glued windows Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade.
Wear protective gloves and eye protection.		 AS67.00-Z-0001-01A 
7 Cut rear window out of with cutting blade   AR67.20-P-2000-02D

8 Lift rear window from body with suction cups (4) COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WE58.40-Z-1029-11A 
INSTALLING Install     
9 Reinstall support on clips at same point (arrow)    
10 Prepare body flange for installation of window   AR67.10-P-1501-01P
    SPECIAL TOOL Figure

11 Prepare window for installation   AR67.10-P-1000-03P
12 Line up rear window in the body opening   AR67.20-P-2000-04D 
    IMPORTANT Observe gap *BE67.20-P-1001-01B 
13 Apply glue   AR67.10-P-1000-08P
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Betagun 2K electric cartridge gun *WH58.30-Z-1002-20A 
    IMPORTANT Height of glue bead approx. 13 mm  
    NOTES Install window within 10 minutes before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease  
14 Install rear window   AR67.20-P-2000-05D 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WE58.40-Z-1029-11A 
    IMPORTANT The curing time is approx. 1 hour from the time the rear window is installed  
    NOTES Open crank window in vehicle to prevent the rear window from being pressed outward by air pressure when the door is closed.  
15 Install molding on rear window   ra67001400220x
16 Connect electric connections (1) on rear window    
17 Install paneling on rear pillar   ra68001400449x
