Replacing centering sleeve - AR41.10-P-0200DA: Notes

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing     
1 Remove propeller shaft Model 129 AR41.10-P-0050A
    Model 140 AR41.10-P-0050DA 
    Models 202, 170, 208 AR41.10-P-0050EA
2 Mark flexible disks (12, 12a) relative to two-arm or four-arm flange and detach IMPORTANTInstallation  : Check flexible disk for damage and replace if necessary
NOTES Replace self-locking nuts		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Flexible disk on front propeller shaft *BA41.10-P-1001-01A 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Flexible disk on rear propeller shaft *BA41.10-P-1002-01A 
3 Loosen fitted sleeves of flexible disks   AR41.10-P-0050-09DA 
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Drift punch for loosening fitted sleeves in the flexible disks   WF58.50-P-4110-01A
4.1 Detach vibration damper (20) from front propeller shaft Models 170.447 and 170.435/445 and 208.335/345/347/435/445/447/, with manual transmission
Models 202.018/020/023/024/025/026/029/ 078/080/082/083/085/086/089/ 122/180 with manual transmission
Models 202.022/120
Models 202.121/182 (except with 5-speed automatic transmission)		  
    IMPORTANTInstallation  : Fit vibration damper and propeller shaft as per the applied marking AR41.30-P-0100-01A
REFER TO COMPONENT MODIFICATIONS Vibration damper on front propeller shaft Models 202.018/020 with automatic transmission.
Vibration damper is no longer used		 BT41.10-P-0002-01A
5.1 Mark vibration damper relative to rear propeller shaft and detach Model 140.1
IMPORTANTInstallation  : Fit vibration damper as marked
Observe technical modification: ↓		 AR41.10-P-0200-05DA 
REFER TO COMPONENT MODIFICATIONS Vibration damper on rear propeller shaft Model 140.1 ab 15.9.91  BT41.10-P-9109-01DA 
6 Separate front and rear propeller shaft at clamped joint or slide IMPORTANTInstallation  : Smear splined shaft profile with Molykote grease ↓  
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS   Long-life greases (NLGI class 2) BB00.40-P-0266-02A
    Assemble propeller shaft
Observe technical modifications: ↓		 AR41.10-P-0050-05DA 
REFER TO COMPONENT MODIFICATIONS Propeller shaft clamped joint Models 129, 140, 202  BT41.10-P-9110-01DA 
REFER TO COMPONENT MODIFICATIONS Universal joint on rear propeller shaft Model 140.050/051  BT41.10-P-9111-02DA 
REFER TO COMPONENT MODIFICATIONS Rear propeller shaft Model 140.03/1  BT41.10-P-9111-01DA 
INSPECT Checking    
7 Check centering sleeve in front and rear propeller shaft IMPORTANT If the sealing lip in the centering sleeve (10) is worn or damaged, the centering sleeve can be replaced individually.  
8.1 Remove centering sleeve (10) If necessary after checking AR41.10-P-0200-02DA 
    IMPORTANTInstallation  : press in centering sleeve (press-in distance of centering sleeve), see:↓  
    Models 129, 140 AR41.10-P-0200-03DA 
    Model 202 with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission AR41.10-P-0200-03DB
    Model 202 with 6-speed manual transmission AR41.10-P-0200-03DI
    Models 170, 208 AR41.10-P-0200-03DC
9 Pack cavities in the two centering sleeves with grease FLUID SPECIFICATION *BF41.10-P-1001-01A 
10 Install in reverse order
