DTC inspection

Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any ECM-related DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION ] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
DTC is detected
- If DTC P0601:00 or P0606:00 is detected, replace the ECM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
- If the detected DTC is other than P0601:00 or P0606:00, inspect for possible causes of the detected DTC in the order from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [ECM] ] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
  - If the malfunction has not been resolved, replace the ECM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See VISUAL INSPECTION )
