Automatic Transaxle Fluid (ATF) Replacement [GW6AX-El]

ATF
Type: ATF FZ

WARNING:

Do not perform the servicing while the ATF is hot. Otherwise, it could cause severe burns or serious injury.

Remove the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the dipstick securing bolt.

Remove the dipstick.
Remove the drain plug and washer, and drain the ATF.

Install a new washer and drain plug.

Add ATF from the dipstick installation hole.

NOTE:

The ATF color is blue.
Only use ATF FZ

ATF type	Resupply amount (Reference)
ATF FZ	ATF is drained from drain plug: 3.5 L {3.7 US qt, 3.1 Imp qt}

Adjust the ATF level. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) ADJUSTMENT [GW6AX-EL] .)
Insert the dipstick and install the securing bolt.

Install the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
