Rear Seat Belt Reminder Unit Inspection: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side pocket (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (LH) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat cushion (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat back component (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference).
- If the voltage is not as specified in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s).
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear seatbelt reminder unit. (See REAR SEAT BELT REMINDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- If the voltage is not as specified in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s).
