SHIFT POINT IS HIGH OR LOW (EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	INSPECT SIGNAL PARTS FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the value at the following PCM PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) APP1 (APP sensor No. 1) APP2 (APP sensor No. 2) BARO (BARO sensor) ECT (ECT sensor) IAT1 (IAT sensor No. 1) Is there any malfunction? (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G (US))] .)	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT SIGNAL PARTS FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the value at the following electrical supply unit (ESU) PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) BRK_SW (Brake switch) Is there any malfunction? (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) (US)] .)	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS LOW-G (XY) SENSOR Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Replace the sophisticated airbag sensor (SAS) control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
3		No	Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
