NO SHIFTING (EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	INSPECT SIGNAL PARTS FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the value at the following PCM PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) APP1 (APP sensor No. 1) APP2 (APP sensor No. 2) BARO (BARO sensor) ECT (ECT sensor) IAT1 (IAT sensor No. 1) MAF (MAF sensor) ENG_RPM (CKP sensor) Is there any malfunction? (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G (US))] .)	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT SIGNAL PARTS FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the value at the following electrical supply unit (ESU) PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) BRK_SW (Brake switch) Is there any malfunction? (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) (US)] .)	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS LOW-G (XY) SENSOR Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Replace the sophisticated airbag sensor (SAS) control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
3		No	Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
