Crash Zone Sensor Removal/Installation (Us/CANADA): Center

- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Upper face (See UPPER FACE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the cover.
- Disconnect the connector. (See CONNECTOR DISCONNECT NOTE .)
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the crash zone sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
- Verify that the air bag/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light illuminates for approx. 6 s and turns off.
- If the air bag/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light does not operate normally, refer to the onboard diagnostic system (air bag system) and perform inspection of the system. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
- Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (With 360° view monitor system) (See 360° VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING .)
- Perform the front radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING .)
- Perform the front side radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front side radar sensor) (See FRONT SIDE/REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING .)
