Side Spoiler Installation

  1. When a side spoiler is to be reused, perform the following procedure:
    1. Remove the protector remaining on the side spoiler after removal.
    2. If the protector is damaged, replace the part that is damaged with a new protector.

  2. Remove the double-sided adhesive tape on the side spoiler.
  3. Remove any grease or dirt from the adhesion surface of the side spoiler.
  4. Affix the double-sided adhesive tape to the position shown in the figure.

  5. Press the side spoiler into the rear spoiler side and engage the tabs of the side spoiler with the rear spoiler.

  6. Install the side spoiler screws.

  7. Install the rear spoiler. (See REAR SPOILER INSTALLATION .)
  8. Install the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
