DC-DC CONVERTER INSPECTION [i-ELOOP]

  1. Verify that the DC-DC converter related DTC is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION [i-ELOOP] .) (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
    • If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
    • If a DTC is not detected, go to the next step.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  3. Disconnect the service plug. (See SERVICE PLUG DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [i-ELOOP] .)
  4. Remove the front seat component (LH). (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the DC-DC converter cover. (See DC-DC CONVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [i-ELOOP] .)
  6. Do a visual inspection of the DC-DC converter.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
