GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-ELOOP)]: Notes

WARNING:
- Remove and install all parts when the engine is cold, otherwise they can cause severe burns or serious injury.
- When the battery cables are connected, touching the vehicle body with generator terminal B will generate sparks. This can cause personal injury, fire, and damage to the electrical components. Always disconnect the negative battery cable before performing the following operation.
NOTE:
- The i-ELOOP caution label is adhered to the position shown in the figure below on vehicles with i-ELOOP. When determining if a vehicle in for servicing is equipped with i-ELOOP, refer to the i-ELOOP section. (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH i-ELOOP)] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the generator drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the A/C compressor with the cooler hose still connected and secure it using wire or rope so that it is out of the way. (with A/C) (See A/C COMPRESSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
