Fuel-Filler Lid Adjustment

- Verify that the gap and height difference between the fuel-filler lid and body.

Standard clearance (Sedan (4SD))
a: 1.73-3.73 mm {0.069-0.146 in}
b: 0.8-2.8 mm {0.04-0.11 in}
c: -0.5-1.5 mm {-0.01-0.05 in}
d: 1.72-3.72 mm {0.068-0.146 in}
e: 1.55-3.55 mm {0.062-0.139 in}
Standard clearance (Hatchback (5HB))
a: 1.76-3.76 mm {0.070-0.148 in}
b: 0.78-2.78 mm {0.031-0.109 in}
c: -0.5-1.5 mm {-0.01 -0.05 in}
d: 1.74-3.74 mm {0.069-0.147 in}
e: 1.56-3.56 mm {0.062-0.140 in}
- If the measured value exceeds the standard clearance, adjust the fuel-filler lid using the following procedure:
- Loosen the bolts and adjust the fuel-filler lid.
- Tighten the bolts. (See FUEL-FILLER LID REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
