Front Bumper Installation

  1. Install the wiring harness clips.

  2. Connect the connectors.
  3. Press in the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the guide (RH).

  4. Press in the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the guide (LH).

  5. Press in the front bumper in the order of the arrows shown in the figure, and attach the front bumper hooks to the front bumper slider.

  6. Install the fasteners.

  7. Slightly bend back the front mudguard and install the screws.

  8. Temporarily tighten the screws.

  9. Adjust the front bumper position so that the clearance between the front bumper and the hood is within the standard clearance shown in the figure.

  10. Completely tighten the screws tightened temporarily in Step  8.

  11. Measure the clearance between the front bumper and the hood and verify that it is within the standard clearance shown in the figure.

    • If not within the specification, repeat from Step  8 to Step  11 until the clearance between the front bumper and the hood is within the specification.
  12. Install the set plate. (See SET PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  13. Install the bolts.

  14. Partially peel back front under cover No. 1 and install the fasteners first and then screws to the positions shown in the figure.

  15. Insert the front under cover No. 1 guide into the inner side of the front bumper.

  16. Install the fasteners first and then screws to the positions shown in the figure.

  17. Install the fasteners.

  18. Install the screws.

  19. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
