- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- High-mount brake light (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear speaker (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inspect the resistance between rear speaker terminals A and B.
Rear speaker resistance
3.24-3.96 ohms
- If not within the specification, replace the rear speaker. (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
