C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Bass-box (With Bose ®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the rear speaker connector.
Pull the C-pillar trim in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure and detach the clips and pin.

Pull the C-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow and remove it while detaching the guide and clip.

NOTE:
- When replacing the C-pillar trim, remove the rear speaker. (With Bose®) (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When replacing the C-pillar trim, remove the rear speaker grille. (With Bose®) (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install in the reverse order of removal. (See C-PILLAR TRIM INSTALLATION NOTE .)
