Rear Speaker Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Bass-box (With Bose ®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. Remove the screws.
  5. Remove the rear speaker.
  6. While pressing the tabs of the clip in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the short cord clip from the C-pillar trim.

  7. Detach the hook from the short cord.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
