Trunk Side Trim Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (with trunk board) (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Bass-box (with Bose®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk box (See TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Peel back the rear door seaming welt and liftgate weatherstrip.
- Pull up the cover in the direction the of arrow shown in the figure.
- Remove the bolt, then remove the cargo net hooks.
- Remove the fastener.
- Pull the trunk side trim in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and detach clips A and B from the body or the C-pillar trim.
- Disconnect the cargo compartment light connector. (RH)
- When the trunk side trim is replaced, remove the cargo compartment light. (RH) (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
