Sliding Door Trim Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
  • Affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent damage.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Slide door lock knob to the LOCK position.
  3. Remove the side door garnish. (See SIDE DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the rear side trim. (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Slide door lock knob to the UNLOCK position.
  6. Half close the sliding door.
  7. Remove the screws A.

  8. Pull in the direction of the arrow (1), (2), (3) shown in the figure and remove clips B from the door inner panel.

  9. Pull the sliding door trim in the direction of the arrow (4) shown in the figure.

  10. Remove the sliding door trim.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
