Liftgate Garnish Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Liftgate lower trim (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Liftgate light (See LIFTGATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the nut A.

  4. Detach the clips B shown in the figure.

  5. Pull the liftgate garnish in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
