Liftgate Hinge Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Liftgate (See LIFTGATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear header trim (See REAR HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the nuts.

  4. Remove the liftgate hinge.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
