Oil Control Valve (OCV) Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the dipstick.
- Remove the OCV connector.
- Remove the ventilation hose.
- Remove the cylinder head cover.
- Remove the OCV.
- Install the OCV.
Tightening torque
8.0-11.5 N.m {81.6-117.2 kgf.cm, 70.9-101.7 in.lbf}
- Install the cylinder head cover. (See CYLINDER HEAD COVER INSTALLATION NOTE ).
- Install the ventilation hose.
- Install the OCV connector.
- Install the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
