Thermostat Removal/Installation

WARNING:
- Remove and install all parts when the engine is cold, otherwise they can cause severe burns or serious injury.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
- Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT ).
- Remove the P/S oil pump with hoses and pipe still connected. Position the P/S oil pump out of the way. (See POWER STEERING OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3, L3 WITH TC] ).
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
- Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION ).
