Oil Cooler Hoses & Pipes (GF4A-El): Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Drain the coolant into a container. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING in 2.5L V6 article in ENGINES. Drain the ATF into a container. See DRAINING & REFILLING  under LUBRICATION.
  2. Remove the fresh-air duct and air cleaner assembly. See Figure . Remove oil cooler in the order indicated in Fig 1 .
