Is any voltage present?
Yes REPAIR the circuit. No For BCMDTC B14E0:15, B1D00:15, B14E1:15 or B1D01:15, GO to H3 For BCMDTC B14E2:15, B1D02:15, B14E2:15 or B1D02:15, GO to H5 - H3 CHECK THE HEADLAMP INTERNAL HARNESS
- Remove the suspect adaptive front lighting module.
- CHECK the internal headlamp harness for open or shorted circuits and damaged or pushed-out pins.
Is the headlamp internal harness OK?
Yes GO to H4 No REPAIR the harness. If the harness cannot be repaired, INSTALL a new headlamp assembly. REFER to: Headlamp Assembly . - H4 CHECK THE ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING MODULE
- Connect all disconnected connectors.
- Substitute the known good adaptive front lighting module from the opposite headlamp.
- Ignition ON.
Does the suspect front turn lamp operate correctly?
Yes REMOVE the known good adaptive front lighting module. INSTALL a new adaptive front lighting module. REFER to: Adaptive Front Lighting Module . No REMOVE the known good adaptive front lighting module. GO to H5. - H5 CHECK FOR CORRECT BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) OPERATION
- Disconnect and inspect all BCM connectors.
- Repair:
- corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
- damaged or bent pins - install new terminals/pins
- pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
- Reconnect the BCM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.
- Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
Is the concern still present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new BCM. Refer to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION No The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
