Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Installation

- Install the TR sensor.
- Install the TR sensor bolts and connect the electrical connector.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
- Perform the steps for TR Sensor Adaptive Learning. Refer to: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Adaptive Learning . Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment
- Verify the engine starts only in park (P) and neutral (N) and the reverse lamps illuminate only in reverse (R).
