Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

Adjustment

Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.

Set the selector lever to the drive D position.

Unlock the adjuster.
1. Spread open the ears of the lock tab.
2. Pull out the lock tab.

1. Set the manual control lever to the drive D position.
2. Inspect the manual control lever.

With the selector lever cable adjuster locking tab released, connect the selector lever cable end to the manual control lever.

Slide the locking tab to lock the selector lever cable adjuster.

NOTE: Perform the steps for transmission range (TR) sensor adaptive learning.

Verify that the vehicle only starts in P and N and the reverse lamps illuminate in R.
