Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2024 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2024 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2024 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2024 - ]

  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    for Sport Package: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

    except Sport Package: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 45 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 [03/2022 - ]

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 [03/2022 - ]

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    for LED Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

    for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  11. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  12. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT TENSION SPRING 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2022 - ]
  13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2022 - ]

  14. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE AND LEVER SET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2022 - ]

  15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL JUNCTION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2022 - ]

  16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2022 - ]

  17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [03/2022 - ]

  18. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE LH

  26. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

      *a Lock Lever - -
      1. Disengage the claw and raise the lock lever to disconnect the cooling fan motor connector as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        After disconnecting the cooling fan motor connector, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the cooling fan motor connector.

      2. Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the fan with motor assembly.

      1. Disengage the 2 claws.
      2. Disengage the 2 guides to separate the cooler condenser assembly from the radiator assembly.
        NOTE:

        Make sure not to damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when separating the cooler condenser assembly.

      3. Remove the radiator assembly with the fan with motor assembly from the vehicle body.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly with the fan with motor assembly.

      1. Disengage the 2 claws.
      2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the fan with motor assembly from the radiator assembly.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan with motor assembly.
