Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. SECURE VEHICLE 
    1. For PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. For UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    3. For P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. For PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. For UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    3. For P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Disengage the 8 clips and claw as shown in the illustration to remove the shifting hole cover assembly.
      3. Disconnect the connector.
  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. For PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

    2. For UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

    3. For P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE COVER

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips and claw as shown in the illustration to remove the upper console cover.
  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  17. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  18. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 clips and 3 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel finish panel end RH.

  26. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the lower center instrument panel finish panel is necessary

  27. REMOVE USB CHARGER SOCKET

  28. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the lower center instrument panel finish panel is necessary

  30. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the instrument panel cup holder is necessary.

    2. Use the same procedure for all instrument panel cup holders.
  31. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly is necessary.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Move the glove compartment door lever as shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, press the cylinder lock plate to release it and pull out the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly from the glove compartment door lever to remove it as shown in the illustration.
