Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  7. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  11. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  13. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  14. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  15. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 
  16. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39

  17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 
  18. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
  19. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54

  20. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OUTER OPENING LID

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and 6 guides to remove the fuel filler outer opening lid as shown in the illustration.
  21. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER

      Remove in this Direction - -
  22. DISCONNECT AC CHARGER INLET CABLE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      1. Disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 clamps.
      2. Disconnect the drain hose.
      3. Remove the 4 nuts and bolt.
      4. Disengage the 2 guides to disconnect the ac charger inlet cable.
  23. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR

  24. REMOVE POWER SUPPLY CONNECTOR SUPPORT PLATE

      Disconnect in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the 4 bolts.
      2. Disconnect the power supply connector support plate as shown in the illustration.
      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the power supply connector support plate.
  25. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  26. REMOVE BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTOR OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly.
      2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and 4 claws.
      3. Remove the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
