Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT 

    See step  10 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  9 [11/2017 - ]

  6. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE 

    See step  11 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  10 [11/2017 - ]

  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  12 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  11 [11/2017 - ]

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  13 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  12 [11/2017 - ]

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the radiator hose clamp.

    2. Remove the radiator hose clamp from the fan shroud assembly.
    3. Remove the bolt to disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the fan shroud assembly.
  11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 

    See step  16 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  15 [11/2017 - ]

  12. REMOVE COOLING FAN WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan wire connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps to remove the cooling fan wire.
  13. REMOVE FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and fan.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  15. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
