Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and engine room side cover.

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 8 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°
      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Remove the screw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Remove the 8 screws.

    7. Remove the 3 bolts.

    8. Remove the 2 clips.
    9. Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    10. Pull the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 6 connectors.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    11. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
      1. Disconnect the washer hose and drain the washer fluid as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    12. Disengage the 2 claws and 8 guides to remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
