Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and engine room side cover.

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 8 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the screw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Remove the 8 screws.

    6. Remove the 3 bolts.

    7. Remove the 2 clips.
    8. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    9. w/ Fog Light:
      1. Pull the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    10. Pull the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 3 connectors.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    11. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
      1. Disconnect the washer hose and drain the washer fluid.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    12. Disengage the 8 guides and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
