Removal [03/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  5. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    for Sport Package: Refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

    except Sport Package: Refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    for LED Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

    for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  11. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  12. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT TENSION SPRING 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  14. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE AND LEVER SET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL JUNCTION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  19. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  20. REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  21. REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  22. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  24. DISCONNECT NO. 3 INVERTER COOLING HOSE 
    NOTE:
    • Put pieces of cloth into the pipes and disconnected hoses or cover the pipes and hoses with plastic bags to prevent foreign matter from entering the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant) and inverter cooling system.
    • Do not apply excessive force to the No. 3 inverter cooling hose.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  26. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  27. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

      1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 inverter cooling hose from the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant).
        NOTE:
        • Put pieces of cloth into the pipes and disconnected hoses or cover the pipes and hoses with plastic bags to prevent foreign matter from entering the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant) and inverter cooling system.
        • Do not apply excessive force to the No. 4 inverter cooling hose.
      2. Remove the 4 bolts.
      3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant) from the radiator assembly.
