Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CHARGE LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

  2. DISCONNECT AC CHARGER INLET CABLE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CHARGE PORT LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the 4 bolts.
      2. Disconnect the battery charge port lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      3. Disengage the guide to remove the battery charge port lid sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE EV CHARGER LID INDICATOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and 4 guides to remove the battery service opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
  7. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER

      Remove in this Direction - -
  8. REMOVE BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTOR OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly.
      2. Remove the 2 nuts.
      3. Remove the 2 screws and remove the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
