Reassembly [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE 
    1. When using a new roof headlining assembly:
      1. Using a knife, cut the roof headlining at the markings as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Make sure to cut the roof headlining at the same positions as the removed roof headlining.

    2. for Glass Roof:
      1. Apply a new butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

        Butyl Tape - -
        NOTE:

        Apply securely so that the butyl tape will not shift or peel off.

      2. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° clockwise and connect to the roof headlining assembly.

      3. Attach the clamps.
      4. Set No. 1 roof wire positioning tape at the position shown in the illustration on the No. 1 roof wire.

        *c Roof Set Position - -
      5. Apply fastening tape to the position shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining assembly.

    3. for Carbon Roof:
      1. Apply a new butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

        NOTE:

        Apply securely so that the butyl tape will not shift or peel off.

      2. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° clockwise and connect to the roof headlining assembly.

      4. Set No. 1 roof wire positioning tape at the position shown in the illustration on the No. 1 roof wire.

      5. Apply fastening tape to the position shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining assembly.

  2. INSTALL ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Carbon Roof) 
    1. Using double-sided tape or three cement yellow, install a new roof silencer pad in the position shown in the illustration.

      Marking
  3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING HOLDER COVER 
    1. Attach the claws to install the roof headlining holder cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

  4. INSTALL TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [05/2023 - ]

  5. INSTALL ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL MICROPHONE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [05/2023 - ]

  6. INSTALL COAT HOOK 
    1. Attach the claws to install the coat hook.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.
