Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 CONVERTER BRACKET 
    NOTE:

    When removing and reinstalling the converter bracket, do not place loads on the AMD bolt, connector, fins, or breather plug.

    1. Align the No. 1 converter bracket positioning hole with the DC/DC converter assembly positioning pin, and rotate in the direction shown in the illustration to align with the bolt hole.

      *a Positioning Pin/Hole
    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 converter bracket.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 CONVERTER BRACKET 
    NOTE:

    When removing and reinstalling the converter bracket, do not place loads on the AMD bolt, connector, fins, or breather plug.

    1. Align the No. 2 converter bracket positioning hole with the DC/DC converter assembly positioning pin, and rotate in the direction shown in the illustration to align with the bolt hole.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 converter bracket.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY W/BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Install the DC/DC converter assembly w/bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.

      Slide
    4. Connect the connector.
  4. CONNECT NO. 3 FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Connect the No. 3 floor wire to the DC/DC converter assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

    2. Engage the claw to close the No. 3 floor wire terminal cover.

      Install in this Direction
  5. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING EXHAUST DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2023 - ]

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2023 - ]

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [10/2023 - ]

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2023 - ]

  10. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - ]

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2023 - ]

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2023 - ]

  13. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2022 - ]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
