Removal [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY 

    See step  5 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  5 [05/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL 

    See step  6 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  6 [05/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    See step  7 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  7 [05/2019 - ]

  4. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    See step  8 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  8 [05/2019 - ]

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 

    See step  9 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  9 [05/2019 - ]

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  10 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  10 [05/2019 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  11 [05/2019 - ]

  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    See step  12 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  12 [05/2019 - ]

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE 

    See step  13 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  13 [05/2019 - ]

  10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    See step  14 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  14 [05/2019 - ]

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  15 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  15 [05/2019 - ]

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE 

    See step  16 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  16 [05/2019 - ]

  13. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2017 - 05/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [05/2019 - ]

  14. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    See step  18 [09/2017 - 05/2019], or see step  18 [05/2019 - ]

  15. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Hold the shift lever knob sub-assembly and shifting hole cover sub-assembly, and then pull down the shifting hole cover sub-assembly to detach the 2 claws.

      HINT: 

      Do not rotate the shift lever knob sub-assembly. Pull down the shifting hole cover sub-assembly along the knob axis shown in the illustration.

      *a Downward direction to pull shifting hole cover sub-assembly
      *b Knob Axis
      *c Separation
    2. Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  16. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place your hand as shown in the illustration and detach the 4 claws and 8 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamp and remove the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.
  17. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE COVER LH 
    1. Put protective tape around the inner No. 1 instrument panel brace cover LH.

    2. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel brace cover LH.
  18. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE COVER RH 
    1. Put protective tape around the inner No. 1 instrument panel brace cover RH.

    2. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel brace cover RH.
  19. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Put protective tape around the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

    2. Using molding remover B, detach the 8 clips and 3 claws.
    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the rear console end panel sub-assembly.
  20. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET (w/o Wireless Charger) 
    1. Remove the console box pocket.

  21. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET 
    1. Remove the console box carpet.

  22. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.
    2. Remove the 8 bolts.
    3. Detach the 4 guides and remove the console box assembly.
