Installation [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN LOWER NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
- CONNECT STEERING KNUCKLE ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- CONNECT TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Air Suspension)
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Air Suspension)
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the front shock absorber assembly LH.
- CONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- CONNECT FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ AVS)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- INSTALL FRONT DISC LH
- for 6-Pot Caliper:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- except 6-Pot Caliper:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- for 6-Pot Caliper:
- CONNECT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
- STABILIZE SUSPENSION
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Air Suspension)
- Fully tighten the front shock absorber assembly LH bolt.
Torque: 110 N.m (1122 kgf/cm, 81 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
- Fully tighten the front shock absorber assembly LH bolt.
- FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Air Suspension)
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the front shock absorber assembly LH.
- FULLY TIGHTEN LOWER NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
- Tighten the installation bolt of the lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.
Torque: 130 N.m (1326 kgf/cm, 96 ft.lbf)
- Tighten the installation nut of the steering knuckle assembly LH.
Torque: 145 N.m (1479 kgf/cm, 107 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the clip are not aligned.
- Install a new clip.
- Tighten the installation bolt of the lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.
- FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
- Tighten the installation bolt of the front lower suspension arm assembly LH.
Torque: 130 N.m (1326 kgf/cm, 96 ft.lbf)
- Tighten the installation nut of the steering knuckle assembly LH.
Torque: 145 N.m (1479 kgf/cm, 107 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the clip are not aligned.
- Install a new clip.
- Tighten the installation bolt of the front lower suspension arm assembly LH.
- INSTALL REAR LOWER ARM MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER LH
- INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER

- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

- CONNECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP CONNECTOR (w/o Vacuum Brake Booster)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2018 - 10/2020]
- INSPECT AND ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT (w/ Air Suspension)
Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2017 - 10/2020]
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 10/2020]
- ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING
