Installation [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front axle hub sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - 10/2023]

      HINT: 

      The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor malfunctions, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DISC LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. CONNECT FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  4. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE 
    1. for LH Side:

      1. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Do not twist the skid control sensor wire when installing it.

      2. Connect the skid control sensor wire connector.
    2. for RH Side:

      1. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Do not twist the skid control sensor wire when installing it.

      2. Connect the skid control sensor wire connector.
      3. Connect the pad wear indicator connector.
    3. Install the sensor clamp with the nut.

      Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf)

    4. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not twist the skid control sensor wire when installing it.

    5. Connect the skid control sensor wire connector.
  5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - 10/2023]

  6. CONNECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP CONNECTOR 
    1. With the engine switch off, connect the 2 brake booster pump connectors.
    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2018 - 10/2023]

  7. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
