Removal [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [04/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH (for Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [04/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 2 OPENING TRIM COVER LH (for Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [04/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (for Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [04/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for Side) 
    NOTE:

    Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front No. 1 speaker assembly.
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY (for Center) 
    1. Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration to prevent damage in the following procedures.

      Protective tape
    2. Insert the moulding remover B between the instrument safety pad sub-assembly in the position shown in the illustration and create a gap.

    3. Using moulding remover A in the gap created in the previous procedure, detach the claws.

    4. Move the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Detach the claw in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    6. Detach the claw in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly.

      Remove in this Direction
  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for Center) 
    NOTE:

    Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front No. 2 speaker assembly.
