Removal [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    See step  1

  2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  5. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  6. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  12. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the cooler compressor assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  13. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the cooler compressor assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  14. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 3 bolts, nut and cooler compressor assembly.

    3. Remove the stud bolt.
