Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2020 - ]

  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  5

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - ] )

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH 
    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the clip. Then move the radiator side deflector LH so that the radiator can be removed in the step below.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the clip. Then move the radiator side deflector RH so that the radiator can be removed in the step below.

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the radiator reservoir hose from the radiator assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and radiator reservoir assembly from the fan shroud.
  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the 2 clamps and remove the No. 1 radiator hose.

  11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD 
    1. Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fluid coupling assembly.

    2. Remove the fan and generator V belt (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
    3. Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan shroud.

    4. Remove the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling assembly, and then remove the fan shroud together with the fluid coupling assembly.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

    5. Remove the fan pulley from the water pump assembly.
  12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose.

  13. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the 2 hoses and oil cooler accessory assembly from the radiator assembly.

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and radiator assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clamp and remove the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 radiator supports from the radiator assembly.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the 2 No. 2 radiator supports from the radiator assembly.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT BUSH 
    1. Remove the 4 No. 1 radiator support bushes from the radiator assembly.

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL 
    1. Remove the No. 1 radiator to support seal from the radiator assembly.

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL 
    1. Remove the No. 2 radiator to support seal from the radiator assembly.
